editbug is a user created for testing if the editbug problems are bound to a certain user or not.
The "edit bug" is the problem when a page in this Wiki sometimes cannot be saved anymore and the browser tries to download index.php file accompanied by a "network error".
This only happens if the page contains a link in the form http://... or with https or mailto, respectively.
The problem appears sporadically, but when it turns up, it stays for some time. So far we have not recorded an incident where on user could not edit and user editbug could.
Workarounds:
- Using the http template:
{{http|www.address.com/blabla}}
- Writing the link without specifying the protocol name:
//www.address.com/blabla
